Walks with angellightphoto — Walking itineraries at home & away

I have been taking photographs ever since I was old enough to hold a camera. And walking? For even longer.

A series of self-guided walks in the footsteps of angellightphoto

Walking — especially hillwalking — has been a constant source of enjoyment throughout my life. It has also been a common thread running through the majority of my personal interests. It is, after all, while walking that I encounter the wildlife, landscapes, and other subjects that I love to photograph. With that in mind I have created a space where I can share some of my favourite walks. You can also check out my profile on komoot (by clicking the link in the graphic below), where you will find all my walks together with downloadable GPS routes, elevation profiles, and photographs.

Initially, I plan to concentrate on all the beautiful walks around where my wife and I live in the mountainous area of Italy’s Northern Tuscany that is known as la Lunigiana. More particularly, our hikes in the communes of Fivizzano, Casola in Lunigiana, and Minucciano, which are closest to our home.

Next on my list will be walks in the UK, as that is where we are from. Finally, I will create a page for the walks that we do when we are travelling through other parts of the world, and a page for walks in other parts of Italy.

Each page will eventually be divided into short/easy walks, moderate/intermediate rambles, and longer/technical hikes.
