angellightphoto (originally mythandmyst.com) is a brand that I created to support my online activities as a freelance photographer, back when the Internet was in its infancy. It’s a name and a brand that I have become very attached to and one that continues to serve me well.

I was born in Leigh-on-Sea, England. After finishing Grammar School in Southend-on-Sea, I studied Landscape and Design in Amenity Horticulture, which wedded my interests in photography, artistic design and the landscape. By a strange quirk of fate, I ended up working in the design and technology side of the retail industry, which took my photography in new directions. Since 2007, I have been living in the mountains of Tuscany in Italy, where I have been spending time focusing on the artistic side of my photography, facilitating photography workshops, and writing.
